Who are the Magic City Steppers?

Chicago style steppin was introduced to Birmingham, AL in 2007.  After two years of supporting and promoting the dance in the city, the establishment that brought the dance to the city chose to go in a different direction.  The dance had already touched the lives of people in the city.  We had two options - travel to follow our passion or step up to preserve steppin in the city.  This is how Magic City Steppers came to be.  We are a group of people joined together by our love for the dance.  Our goal is to communicate with each other on local gathering to dance and share information on events around the country and support our fellow steppers.
